這座邊陲小城甦醒得晚，日光穿透晨霧、爬上西牆、照進院子，又是半小時以後的事了。

This small border town wakes up late.  After the sunlight passed through the morning fog, climbed up the western wall, and shone into the yard, half an hour had passed.

今夏初次有機會到越南，走訪了北部的河內、中部的峴港等地。對這個東南亞國家的初步印象，作為中華文化圈的一份子，感覺越南的文化好比日、韓，比較像是中華文化的一個變體，從它的建築風格、米食文化、茶文化等多個方面都可見端倪。 This summer, I got the opportunity to go to Vietnam for the first time, and visited some places in the northern and central Vietnam including Hanoi and Da Nang.  As a member of the Chinese cultural circle, my first impression of this Southeast Asian country is that, as like Japan and Korea, Vietnam's culture is just like a variant of Chinese culture, which can be seen from its architectural style, rice food culture, tea culture, and many other aspects. *   *   *   *   * 由於地處東南亞的地緣關係，可以看到越南自古以來受東亞、南亞文化影響的痕跡，包括古代中國的儒家思想、孔廟和古代印度的婆羅門教、佛教寺廟。特別是古時的政治、教育制度在許多方面借鑑了中國，以至於到今天其民族性也頗有華人的影子：同為東南亞國家，相較於泰國這個樂天而隨興的佛國，越南比較像是一個務實而勤奮的農耕民族。 Due to its geographical location in Southeast Asia, there are the signs of the influence of East Asian and South Asian culture to Vietnam since ancient times that include Confucianism and Confucius...

騰衝的雨季裡最讓客居的人們難以適應的，無非就是那種每天連綿細雨的陰雨天了。不便出行的狀況下，人往往更願意待在屋子裡。望著院子裡的雨景，是有幾分的愜意。只是這樣連續幾天下來，人在高濕度的空氣裡久了，難免會產生煩悶感，教人難以排解。 What the most unendurable in the rainy season of Tengchong for people who long stay in it, should be nothing but the rainy days that are drizzling every day.  People are more likely to stay in the house while they are inconvenient to go out.  It is some cozy to look at the rain in the yard, however, if the weather is like this for several days, people in the high-humidity air for a long time will inevitably feel bored, which is hard to be relieved. *     *     *     *     * 儘管這樣的天氣令人煩悶，在院子裡看著花木在有限的陽光、充沛的雨水裡努力地生長著，心裡油然而生幾分欣慰；喝著雲南這片土地上的百年老樹所生長出來的普洱生茶，這種在熱天裡能讓人感覺沁涼的飲品，在這種濕涼的天氣裡竟然也能在人的身體裡產生出一種特別的暖意。 Although the weather is boresome, when I saw the flowers and trees in the yard to grow in the limited sunshine and abundant rain, my heart was a little bit gratified; when I drank the Pu'er raw tea t...
